One way that Penn Station Sandwiches gives back to the community is by funding the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network. Their mission is to ensure that more children with Down syndrome have the opportunity to grow up in a loving family. Learn more about this great program at www.ndsan.org.

Penn Station has been fully funding the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network since 2014. In 2018, Penn Station locations established local partnerships with Down syndrome associations to raise awareness and funds for the Down Syndrome community. Every year we invite customers to participate in a fundraising campaign for Down Syndrome Associations in markets where Penn Station stores are located. In October of 2026, customers have the opportunity to donate $5 and get over $30 worth of Deals on Penn Station favorites. This gives the organizations funds to provide resources, education, support, camps and other great initiatives to those in need. In collaboration with our valued customers, Penn Station has been able to donate over $2 million to Down Syndrome Associations to support their important work in the community.

    Penn Station has formalized their support of the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network (NDSAN) with a commitment to an annual donation to the organization. Every October all 300+ locations participate in the Deals for Downs campaign to raise money for local Down syndrome support organizations. This year, Penn Station donated $333,820 to local Down syndrome support organizations and the NDSAN.
